Our dog walking service will take away some of the frustrations your dog may be suffering from. If you are out at work for long periods, maybe you are elderly and can not get around quite as easily as a few years ago, or maybe you just haven’t got the time to give your dog all the exercise he needs. Dogtopia will give your dog the required amount of exercise you desire (minimum 1 hour walk) at a nearby park or wooded area. Your dog must be well socialised with others and with people. At the end of your dogs walk he will be happy, tired and content. Prices from £7.00
When you have to go away for a few days or maybe you are off on holiday for a few weeks you have to take care of your animals. How? Do you put your cat / cats in a cattery, away from their natural environment, do you rely on the neighbours to feed them?
Our pet feeding also extends to rabbits, ferrets, rats, birds, hamsters, fish and any other small animal you may own. Prices from £10.00 for up to 3 animals.
Some pets just do not like being left alone for too long. Have you got a dog that cries when you pop out for the evening. Maybe you have been invited to a day at the races, but knowing you will be away from home for hours on end is worrying you. Don’t let it. Maybe you have just bought yourself a puppy and you don’t like to leave him home alone at such a young age. Dogtopia will come to your home and sit with your pet whilst you are out, we can exercise your dog or just let him sleep contently, knowing that he is not alone. Prices from £10.00
We will collect your pet from your home, take him in to see the vet and bring him home again. Also available, transport to and from the grooming parlour, cattery and kennels. Prices from £15.00
Your dog will stay with us in our home and live inside with our own dogs (so must be sociable). He will get daily walks and all the love and cuddles he would normally get at home. All you have to do is supply his bed (or some kind of comforter) and his food. Before any bookings are confirmed we ask you to come around to our home so you can see where your dog/s will be staying and you and they can meet our own dogs. Once you are happy to book the boarding we ask you for a small deposit to secure your dates. We are fully insured and police checked and are licensed by Thurrock Council to house dogs.
There are many benefits in
microchipping pets.
Microchip identification information can be easily updated. The information is kept on a database, it is a simple matter to update your details whenever you move or your number changes. There is less chance that someone will steal your pet. As a microchip is a permanent record that the dog belongs to you, there is less likelihood that someone will be able to get away with stealing it. There is less chance that you will lose your pet. When a pet has a microchip, it increases the chances of your pet being returned. Microchips cannot be removed, unlike conventional engraved ID tags that can be removed and even tattoos can become illegible over time, a microchip is a permanent method of identification. When you consider that this microchip stays with your pet for life, it is a very inexpensive method of identification. Microchip identification may save your pet’s life. If a pet ends up at an animal shelter, it will stay there for a certain period of time before it has to be put down. However, if your pet has a microchip identification, then the contact details will be retrieved and your pet will be returned.
The procedure is simple and painless for the animal and requires no anaesthetic. The microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, is injected under the skin, a lot like a simple vaccination.
